When I walked into Chrysalis for the first time looking for a kindergarten for my son, I kept thinking, “This school feels like home. It’s a perfect fit!” Its science and nature focus appealed to my scientific mind and my love of the outdoors. The small classes and teacher autonomy reminded me of the middle school I once taught at. I loved seeing the students working together in groups to solve real problems rather than being forced to do worksheets or sit still and listen all day long. Most of all, I knew my child would thrive with the amazing, passionate teachers and the warm community at Chrysalis — and he has! Now, I find myself lucky enough to be the administrator for the school where I can help make Chrysalis even more wonderful by supporting the teachers, building the community, and encouraging the light within each child to shine brighter.
